Marissa Capito

Marissa was born and raised in Juneau, but didn't take riding seriously until she met her husband Sam in 2011. She quickly realized she'd never see him in the winter if she didn't figure out how to snowboard. Since becoming an AAS Instructor, she also works as an avalanche technician for the Alaska Electric Light & Power company, and is an active volunteer member of Juneau Mountain Rescue.
