Growing up in Homer, Caleb was steeped in a strong culture of smelly tele-skiers and the joys of a maritime snowpack. After cross-country ski racing through his childhood, he traded in the skinny sticks when completing a degree in Outdoor Studies with a Snow Science concentration at Alaska Pacific University. With a winter interning at the school under his belt, he returned to work operations and instruct recreational courses and is now on his third year with the school. When not skiing, Caleb can be found sea kayaking, running, or grudgingly participating in most other endurance sufferfest events.
