Andrew Dahlin moved to Alaska "for one year" seven years ago. Originally from Southern California, he's made the mountains his home and can't imagine living away from them. Being passionate about education and coming home safe, he's taken his Level 1, Level 2, Winter Weather Forecasting, and WFR Recert course with the school. During the week, he's a Data Scientist at a local firm in Anchorage. He's excited to utilize his zeal for numbers and spreadsheets as the Treasurer for the Avalanche School. In summers, he spends his time sailing, biking, running and any other activity that gets him outside.
