DETAILS: This is a YOUTH specific Level 1. Age range for this course is 14-17 years old.

The field portion of the class requires driving/drop off/pick-up each of the two field days to Anchorage Front Range, AK. (Glen Alps, Arctic Valley, and possibly S. Fork of Eagle River).
*Please note that there is NO lodging, Rentals, or backcountry gear included in this course* Parents can’t audit or join the course. The Alaska Avalanche School office offers limited transceiver, probe, and shovel rentals to students for the duration of the course. Please contact the office prior to your course start date if you are in need of one of these rental items.
