Andalyn Pace was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and moved to Anchorage for a one year job over a decade ago. Years living in a large unnamed flat city hours away from mountains has confirmed to her the importance of access to the outdoors for wellbeing, which is one of the main things that has kept her in Alaska. She has taken Level 1 and Level 2 courses through AAS and is excited to be a part of bringing these educational opportunities to the public. She is currently serving on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors in her role as "Scribe." In addition to backcountry skiing, Andalyn is a professional amateur in packrafting, rock climbing, running, and biking. When not participating in these activities she is working at her law job, struggling with home improvement projects, and taking care of her two cats.
