Abby Jones

Abby was born and raised in the suburbs of Georgia. Due to that southern lifestyle, Abby was unable to experience a true winter until moving to Alaska for university in 2021. It didn’t take her long to immerse herself in the cold and snow as she completed winter wilderness courses and received her Rec Level 1 and Rec Level 2. Abby will graduate in the spring of 2025 with a degree in Outdoor Studies. She looks forward to continuing to pursue her passion in outdoor education and working with non-profit organizations.
